Why Did We Switch to Kaput® Bait?
Many of you have been asking why we switched from Rozol to Kaput bait.
We list some of our reasons below, but the bottom line is that
we felt that this product was superior for you.
- Kaput Rat, Mouse and Vole bait is less toxic to non target animals than
Rozol, but is just as effective in controlling voles.
Click here for more detailed information about Kaput® toxicity.
- The Kaput bait has recently received EPA registration for vole
control in all 50 states, while Rozol has a Special Local Need
label (SLN) for the control of voles and only in Idaho, Maryland,
Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon,
Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont, Washington,
and West Virginia.
- Kaput vole bait has an attractant and 8 different grains which are palatable and easy to manipulate by voles. Acceptance of the grains is better than pelleted baits such as Rozol. Rozol is one grain, wheat based, and also has an attractant.
- You use the same amount of the Kaput bait as you do with the Rozol.
- The same individual developed both products.
- The Kaput bait is also slightly less expensive per ounce.
